The Alta Municipal Utilities is controlled by a Board of Trustees and a Manager.  The Board consists of five Trustees appointed by the City Council for staggering six-year terms and the Manager is hired by the Board.  The Board has all the power and authority to manage and control the municipal utilities systems and fix rates for service.  The Manager for the Utilities is Mitch Langschwager, altatec@alta-tec.net, 712-200-1122.  See the Alta Municipal Utilities website for more information.
