NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR PUBLICATION

PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION

CITY OF ALTA

Regarding: Amending the 2015 Alta Zoning Ordinance and the City’s Official Zoning Map by amending the boundaries of an existing A-1 Agriculture Zoning District to (C-2) General Commercial Zoning District and (IN) Industrial Zoning District.

A public hearing will be held by the Planning and Zoning Commission on November 18, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Alta Fire Station at which time you may appear if you so desire, either in person or by agent or attorney, in opposition to or support of the proposed zoning ordinance amendment. Official comments will also be accepted via email. Official comments must have written signatures and be sent to cityclerk@alta-tec.net or dropped off at City Hall (no later than 4:30 pm one day before the public hearing) .

Request Description: AMU is requesting to rezone Parcel #0923400011 to be a split-zoned lot where the northern 4.5 acres would be IN (Industrial) and the remainder portion to the south be rezoned to C-2 (General Commercial).

The Alta Planning and Zoning Commission will meet to discuss amending the 2015 Alta Zoning Ordinance and the City’s Official Zoning Map by amending the boundaries of an existing A-1 Agriculture Zoning District to (C-2) General Commercial Zoning District and (IN) Industrial.
