2025 CITY WIDE CLEAN-UP
June 10th & 11th
EXTENDED HOURS!
ONLY APPLIANCES, TIRES, AND TVs/MONITORS WILL BE PICKED UP! No other items will be picked up!
All APPLIANCES, TIRES, and TVs/MONITORS will be PICKED UP on Tuesday, June 10. These items MUST have a city sticker on them. If there is no sticker, they will NOT be picked up. Stickers MUST be purchased at Alta City Hall ahead of time. Stickers will be sold from June 2nd to June 9th.
No other items will be picked up!
All other items to be disposed of must be brought to the dumpsters located at the City Shop (209 E. 1st Street) at the following times:
Tuesday, June 10 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday, June 11 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Dumpsters will be monitored. The following items will NOT be allowed in the dumpsters: fluorescent light bulbs, paint, oil, hazardous household waste, construction materials (insulation, lath, sheetrock, carpet, padding, etc). Homeowners must unload their own materials into the roll off dumpsters.
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE: The BV County Recycling Center can accept hazardous waste anytime throughout the year. Call them at 732-7171 to make an appointment to drop off hazardous waste materials at their location.
